Psalm 38:12-14

¹² Those who ^(A)search for my life ^(B)lay snares for me;
And those who ^(C)seek ^[a]to do me evil have ^[b]threatened destruction,
And they ^(D)meditate on deception all day long.

¹³ But I, like a deaf man, do not hear;
And I am like a ^(E)mute man who does not open his mouth.
¹⁴ And I am like a man who does not hear,
And in whose mouth are no reproofs.
